Lloyd James Wright, Sr.

Lloyd James Wright, Sr., 62, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday morning August 2, 2018.  Lloyd was born in Lancaster on April 17, 1956, son of the late Charles Wright Sr. and late Phyllis R. Wright.  Lloyd was the husband of Linda Wright, whom he married on August 24, 1990.

Lloyd loved spending time at his cabin hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Lloyd worked for the City of Lancaster for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Greenhill Sportsman Association.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 7 children: Lloyd Wright Jr. husband of Shannon Wright, Justin Wright husband of Danielle Wright, Maria Clark wife of Ernest Clark, Sherri Rivera wife of Francisco Rivera, April Wright partner of Brandon Heisey, stepson James Wendel husband of Abby Wendel, stepdaughter Lori Thomas wife of Andy Thomas; 11 grandchildren; sister, Vivian Coover wife of Barry Coover; brothers, Victor Wright husband of Deborah Wright and Robert Wright husband of Sue Wright. He was preceded in death by his grandson Austin Charles Wright, brother Charles Wright Jr. and sister Brenda Werner.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Celebration of life held at Strasburg Fire Company, 203 W. Franklin St, Strasburg PA 17579 on Sunday August 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.  Cremation Services of Lancaster 717-273-6283
