Betty V. (Robinette) Hesse, 94, of Columbia, PA, formerly of Stewartstown, PA, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 18, 1926 in Frederick, MD.
She is survived by her daughters, Lee (Ken) Smith of Hopewell Township, PA, JoAnn Goldsborough of Columbia, PA with whom she resided with; and her son, John (Kaye) Shumar of Berkeley Springs, WV. Also surviving are grandchildren, Danielle Smith of Windsor, PA, Heather (Matthew) Fitzpatrick of LaVale, MD, Amy (Jeremy) Horst of Lititz, PA, Joseph (Reyna) Murray of Columba, PA, Christopher (Kirsty) Murray of Elizabethtown, PA, Matthew Murray of Columbia, PA, Christine Shumar of Berkeley Springs, WV, Michelle Cavey of Baltimore, MD, Sherry (James) Morrison of Baltimore, MD and all of her great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her son, John B. Cavey, Sr., grandson, John B. Cavey, Jr, her sister, Sara J. (Robinette) Staub, her husband Frederick J. Hesse, her father, John F. Robinette and her mother, Mary E. (Carpenter) Robinette.
