Dear Sandy and family,
It is with great sadness that I read of Craig’s death. He was a wonderful father and friend. It was an honor to serve in several capacities with him at church. May the Lord grant you peace and comfort at this time and be with you in the days ahead.
In Deepest sympathy,
Kay Straley

Dear Sandy and Family,

I worked next to and with Craig for a number of years. He was unfailingly friendly, helpful, and good-natured. Plenty smart, too. The Treasury Department was a nicer place with him here, and the rest of the world — and most especially your lives — were far better with him in them. Although I am saddened by your great loss, I hope you take some small comfort in knowing that collectively you made the long experience of his passing as engaged, warm and loving for him as humanly possible. I am certain his heart was full with your affection and support.

Dear Schwartz Family-

I was so sad to hear about Craig. He was a tremendous colleague and friend in my Treasury days. I loved hearing about his next sailing adventure, hunting trip, or concert. He is gone far too soon and I am so sorry for your loss.

Prayers and condolences. I am saddened by Craig’s passing but gladdened by the fullness of his life and the obvious happiness he experienced and brought to those in his life. I was blessed to have known Craig at CV and had been looking forward to seeing him again at future reunions. My prayers are especially with those who will be missing Craig the most. May God continue to bless you with happy memories.

It seems like yesterday that you built your house. In the last few years, I would first here hear your dogs and some times see Tyler (shushing them) when working on my farm near your property line. You have been good neighbors. Sorry to here the news. Please accept my sympathy.

Sandy, Tyler, Justin, and Hillary, I am so very sorry for the passing of Craig. He was an exceptional person who I have always admired. Craig was always most gracious and a gentleman. He had great strength of character and worked hard for his beliefs in integrity, fairness, equality for all. He was alway welcoming. My heart is deep in sorrow for you and all of Craig’s family, as well as for my own loss of a wonderful friend.
