David John May, 75, of Leola, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7th, 2018.He was the husband of Julie for 53 years. The father to Scott, Todd (deceased), and Jason. Also Grandfather to Wyatt, Travis and Derick.
He was proud to be an Army Airborne Ranger. A long career drywall carpenter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Plant Manager for Kaadan, Ltd. Installer for Install Outsource with his son Jason.
Being semi-retired, he continued to be busy and happy working outdoors at St. Annes Retirement Community.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 3pm., at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, at 105 Water Street, New Holland, Pennsylvania. Cremation Services of Lancaster (717) 273-6283
We are very sorry to hear that our cousin david passed away. Remembering fun family parties in milwaukee when we were younger. Sending sincere condolences over the miles to all of you.
Julie, My heart goes out to you and your boys. I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always remember how wonderful Dave was to my mom after she broke her hip. His calls always perked her up, as did his cards and letters. His kind words, love, and sense of humor played a big role in her recovery.
