Donna Jo Mattiace

Donna Jo Gusick Mattiace, 50, Leola, PA, passed over to the arms of Jesus on August 8, 2018 following her courageous fight with cancer. Donna was born November 22, 1967 in Pensacola, Florida to Beverly and Donald Pittman. She was preceded in death by her brother Martin Erick Pittman and all of her grandparents. Donna graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1985. Donna had several different jobs but had worked as a motel manager for the past several years. She adored her gracious employers Ravi and Pragna.

Donna had a heart of gold, a sweet soul, and a godly spirit. She loved to shop at Wal-Mart and spending time with her children. Donna was a wonderful, fun loving mother, daughter, and sister and was loved by family and many caring friends.

She leaves her three children Shaun Sadusky, Britney and Logan Mattiace, and a husband Michael Mattiace;  Her mother Beverly Gusick, father Edward Gusick (Kathy) and biological father, Donald Pittman (Barb). Her sister Edie Gusick (Tony), brother Ed Gusick (Megan), and sister-in-law Donna Shapiro (Brian), who spent many hours at her bedside. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who she loved dearly. She also leaves many wonderful and loving friends. Among them being Missy, Teri, and Marta, who did many caring and wonderful things for her before and during her illness. Also friends she met at the motel that she never forgot.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on August 24, 2018, at Pheasant Ridge Community Building, 209 Longwood Ct. W., Lancaster, PA 17603 starting at 3:00 p.m. for family and friends with Pastor Debbie Miley officiating.
