Mrs Knaub and family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I believe that I first met Tall Ed about 37 years ago, at trinity Lutheran Church or at Willow Street U C C. We did some service together. Ed was always a very pleasant man, and I do believe that he will surely be missed and remembered by our mutual friends. We did, at times, talk about our mutual belief in the Trinity, and I believe that Ed is now with our Lord and Savior, where we will meet again ” Those who live in the Lord will never meet for the last time ” See you later Ed Respectfully Yours, Joe Halpin

I believe there are hidden treasures in those that cross our paths in life and I have found that treasure in Ed’s heart the first hour I had met him ,despite the cancer he had talked about how blessed he was and at that moment I knew the beauty of his heart.
He will forever be etched in my heart and a constant reminder to always see the beauty and the blessings in all that surrounds us despite our circumstances.
Our God is forever good and I pray His peace will guide and comfort you all ,my deepest sympathys

I was very sorry to learn of the passing of Ed. I was a fellow employee of Armstrong World Industries with Ed, and we both spent quite a few years in R&D. I also knew Ed from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster. I am sure Ed will be greatly missed. I offer my condolences to Ed’s wife Carol and family.
