Everett C. Brown

Everett C. Brown, 92 of Lancaster, PA died on Friday, June 27, 2014, at Brereton Manor, Washington Boro, PA. He was the husband of Jean D. Van Riette Brown.

Born February 18, 1922 in Lancaster, OH, he was the son of the late Everett and Blanche Hoppes Brown.

He served in the US Army in WWII from 1942-1945. He worked with the Lancaster, OH fire department attaining the rank of Lieutenant with 32 years of service.

He was a 30 year member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Groveland, FL and was a member of Veterans of Battle of the Bulge, Elks Lodge, American Legion Post 34 of Lancaster, PA.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter Ann wife of Sam Ricketts and grandson Todd husband of Janna Ricketts. He was preceded in death by sister Norma Ruble.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, July 12th, 2014 at Brereton Manor, 3028 Anchor Rd., Washington Boro, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of All Seasons 2741 Paxton St., Suite 200 Harrisburg, PA 17111.
