Fred K. Bandy, Sr., born in Tazwell, VA on August 10, 1943, passed away quietly at home after a lengthy illness on January 11, 2019. Mr. Bandy was a retired electrician and auto mechanic, he was known for his meticulous attention to details and always a perfectionist. He was a very kind man, always willing to lend a hand or help someone any way he could.
He is survived by a son, Robert Bandy of Windsor, PA and a daughter, Christina of York, PA, and five grandchildren, Shawn Bandy of Murfreesboro, TN, Taylor Bandy of York, PA, Mason and Olivia of York, PA Ahna Bandy of Georgetown, TX. Mr. Bandy was preceded in death by a son, Fred K. Bandy, Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX. There will be a memorial service planned at a later date.
