Genevieve S. Thomsen, 104, passed away peacefully June 12, 2015. She spent most of her life in upstate NY. Her last years were spent in Lancaster County, PA. She was the wife of the late Howard A. Thomsen and is survived by her 2 sons, Neil H. Thomsen (wife: Cindy) of Barrington, RI and Ronald L. Thomsen (wife:Carol) of Lititz, PA, 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.

Dear Neil and Ron and families,
My Mom and yours were cousins. My Mother was Elenor Ashton Maslyn. I had just come across a letter from your Mom back when my Dad died and wondered how she was.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My fondest memories of her were what a lady she was.
I pray that God’s peace that passes all understanding will carry you all through this sad time.

She was such a lovely lady and an integral part of the Amber Beach community. My parents fondly remember going out to dinner to celebrate their December birthdays.
