George Jennings Meshew, of Willow Street, PA, died May 11, 2019 after a year- long battle with cancer.  George was born on August 20, 1952 in Cairo, IL, the son of the late Jean Pierre Meshew and Janet Spiecker Meshew.

George loved his work supervising large construction projects.  He was the facilities manager for the School District of Lancaster and later the County of York.  He spent six years in Saudi Arabia supervising the construction of the Hadeed Steel Plant.

George will be sadly missed by his wife Joanne, son Jordan, daughter Katie Hess, brother Jed (Lee) of Savannah, sister Amy Soto (Will) of Key West, grandchildren Camryn, Chloe and Bryson, niece Jamie, nephew Jeddy and numerous other extended family.  George was preceded in death by two brothers, Philip and Joshua.

A private family memorial will be held at the family burial plot in Barlow, KY.
