James M. Seifert

James Monroe Seifert, of Lebanon, PA, passed away due to complications related to Dementia and Covid-19 on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, PA.  He was the loving husband of Elsie M. (Reichert) Seifert.

He was born August 13, 1927 in Auburn, Schuylkill County, PA to George William McKinley Seifert and Nora R. (Staller) Seifert. He served in the US Army. He was a man of Christian faith, he enjoyed singing in the church choir, attending and supporting church activities. His hobbies included making an painting ceramics, swimming, walking and cooking. Jim was a retired Certified Nurses Aid from the Lebanon VA Hospital where he spent 18 years caring for fellow veterans.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul T. Seifert and son Jeffrey A. Seifert. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Elsie, his daughter Lydia K. (Seifert) Dominguez. His grandchildren Rachael A. Wolfe and Isaiah M. Bundy and great-grandchildren Anthony J. Hitz, Amber N. Graff, Trinity M. Graff, Aaliyah E. Cuttino,  Jayceon T. Cuttino and Qyadaisha Cuttino. Also many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends there will be a memorial held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Kochenderfer Church .
