  • Joan was a dear, dear friend that we miss every day. We are home to the last few of Joan’s kitties, and those precious babies remind us of how we met Joan (and Clair, too–may he rest in joy with Joan) and the hobby we shared. Joan was such a gentle soul who gave freely of her time and energy to all–the world is with her gone. Rest in peace, dear friend.

  • Although we did not stay in touch, I will be eternally grateful for the love and care Joan and Clair gave to my son Kristopher. Not only did they babysit, but they loved him and he became part of their family. I, and Kristopher, were so blessed to have them in our lives at a time when we so needed them. I know they must be happy together. Our sincere condolences to the family who now has to move forward with a life without them.
