John M. Stump (Stumpy) 74 of Marietta, Pa. passed away on March 5, 2021. He was the husband of Linda L. Stump. He was born on July 24, 1946, in Columbia, Pa. to the late Howard Stump and the late Gloria O’Brien.
He was retired from Anvil International in Columbia, Pa. and a member of the GMP Local 376. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Susquehanna Beneficial Association of Marietta, Pa. and Del A Ches of Lawn, Pa.
He is survived by a son, Scott (Mick) of Grand Junction, Co. and a daughter Kristie of Marietta, Pa and 4 grandchildren: Michael, Johnathan and Megan of Nebraska and Michelle of Marietta, Pa. and 1 great granddaughter Ryker of Marietta, Pa. He is also survived by 2 sisters Rosalie Whitsell of Dundalk, Md. and Tina Stump of Baltimore, Md. 2 brothers Wesley (Gale) Stump and Jerry O’Brien of Dundalk, Md. plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Catherine Walters and Jeanne Abbott.

I’ll never forget the time John and Linda were sitting outside at mom & dad’s and I walked out to sit with them and John would start taking like Donald Duck, he had me laughing. Rest in Peace John
