Joy M. Leigey, 66, of Ephrata was called home to the Lord and savior on Saturday June 1st, 2019 in Ephrata, PA. She spent her final hours surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woodland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jordan and Helen Collar Jordan. Joy was the loving wife of Elmer C. Leigey III of Ephrata, PA formerly of Woodland, for 50 years. Joy held many jobs in manufacturing but was primarily a homemaker. In her later years she enjoyed baking, bird watching, crossword puzzles, gardening, and spending time with family, friends, and also her two cats. She especially enjoyed spending time on her porch swing. Surviving in addition to her husband are four children; Mark Leigey, husband of Heather, Sherry Leigey, partner of Ken Kahley, Andrew Leigey, husband of Monica, and Jolene Leigey and long time family friend Jan Fisher, ten grandchildren; Amanda, Marcus, Kayla, Nickolas, Jordan, Zachary, Brandon, Hunter, Sarah, and Abigail, four great-grandchildren, and also three siblings.
