  • Our family’s thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. He was always our Uncle Lester. He was always so kind to our family. Our deepest condolences to all of you. Melvin & Becky’s Miller’s Family.

  • We are so sorry to hear of Lester’s passing. I’m so glad I was able to visit with my children last week before we left for vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed being your neighbors on Wheatland Ave. and stopping by for visits (and continuing those visits after you moved to Pleasant View). Daniel and Lauren always wanted to stop in whenever we were out for a walk or a bike ride. It was a privilege to know Lester. He will be missed greatly. May God grant you peace. We will see you soon Jean. You’re in our prayers.

  • Jean, Mike and I were so sorry to read of Lester’s passing. We knew that your house had been sold but hoped to run into you one of these days. We appreciated both Lester’s can-do attitude and skills, his kindness and both of you were excellent neighbors to have when I lived on Wheatland Ave. Lester had some great stories to tell and he was just a terrific and unique guy. You have our condolences.

  • I will really miss Lester. I enjoyed the talks we had while he was in the Personal care unit at PV. He was a great man. My condolences goes out to his family. He will be in my heart forever. May God give you the peace to carry on.

  • Dear Family and Friends of Lester,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on Lester’s passing. I have such great memories of working with Lester while I was Exhibit Planner/Designer at Hands-on House Children’s Museum. He was a very skilled craftsman and had a warm, friendly personality. I enjoyed seeing his classic Studebaker whenever he arrived and remember how proud he was of that car.
Lester was hired to help our regular carpenter, George Erb, when George needed a second pair of hands. They had worked together before retirement, and together they displayed carpentry skills that are rare today as well as a love of creating things for children to use in their play and learning.
We are blessed to have had the opportunity to know Lester and to have benefitted from his work and talent.
