Lillian Jane White, 68, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday surrounded by her family. Jane was born in Columbia, the daughter of Thomas C. and Lillian (Wall) Donnan. In life, Jane enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, walking the Rail Trails, trips to Knoebels Amusement Resort, shopping at local farmers markets, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her sister, Cindy Barninger, wife of Kenneth of Hanover; her nieces Kristie Donnan of Columbia, Heidi Barninger of Dillsburg, nephew Mathew Barninger, husband of Jonathan Carbaugh of Hanover, and her great nephew and niece John Barninger and Jillian Lawrence; and many loving family and friends. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved Dachshund Rylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rita Palmer, niece Stacey Marcello, and her beloved Dachshunds Scarlet and Dayzee. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or The Pet Pantry of Lancaster County.
