Marilynn Sherrin

Marilynn J Sherrin of Manheim Township passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 71 after a lengthy battle with cancer.  She was a resolute fighter who up until her last days was determined to defeat cancer.  Marilynn for the past twenty plus years was employed by the Manheim Township Reidenbaugh Elementary School and Envisions Enterprises and enjoyed looking after and caring for the children in her charge. Marilynn is survived by her husband of 49 years Michael J. Sherrin, her son Timothy J. Sherrin and her brother John E. Smith.  A celebration of her life service will be conducted on Friday, April 28th.  For more information please call (717) 201-2782.

  • Mike I am sooooooooooooo sorry, I had been meaning to call to shoot the breeze . I only know Marilyn passed because I was trying to look up your exact address and saw the obituary I was shocked I am so sorry if I knew I would been there she is now sorely missed by me …..people would say she was a good woman I say she IS a good woman she is still with us just in a different form meaning in the form of spirit. Can you believe I am at a loss of words me the big mouth all I can say is Gods speed may he be with you and let you feel her spirit Marilyn will come around to bug ya once in awhile if I know her that stinker well please give my regards to Tim Love Lin Duane and the kids xoxoox

    I apologize that this is belated. My heart goes out to you and your family with thoughts and prayers in the death of your wife, Marilynn. My hope is that you can find comfort and solace in fond memories as you look back on your life together. May God strengthen and give you peace today and in the days ahead.

  • It is with heavy heart that we say goodbye to Marilynn. She will be missed by so many staff and children of ENVISIONS. It is not the same without her presence. Deepest sympathies to Mike and Tim, and her entire family.

    • My thoughts and prayers go to her work family and the children in her care. I remember her as a happy and helpful co-worker.
