Melvin J. Miller

Melvin J. Miller, 53 of Terre Hill passed away on January 8th, at 3:20 a.m. at Hospice of Mount Joy. He fought a long battle won’t small cell lung cancer. He was born on August 25th, 1962. He was the son of Pheobe Mummau and the late Raymond Miller. Melvin was a truck driver all of his life. He loved going to Sprint car and NASCAR races. He also enjoyed going to tractor pulls and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Holly Stoltzfus, the wife of Jared Stoltzfus and his two grandchildren Karson Stoltzfus and Emyla Stoltzfus of Leola; and his sister Jo Lynn Schlegel and mother Pheobe Mummau. A memorial service will be held on January 16th at 1:00 at The Houston Run Center, 835 Houston Run Drive Gap, PA 17527. A meal will follow the service. Please join us to celebrate Melvin’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Our thoughts, prayers, and love are with you, even more so today since we could not be with you. Melvin was an amazing man, from father, grandfather, son, uncle, cousin, and friend to all those that where blessed to know him. He will be forever missed at family functions, tractor pulls, just hanging out at in the garage and spoiling the boys with goldfish. He was welcomed with opens arms and is with his siblings and father once again, were he will continue to watch over all of you till you can be together again.
