Alice E Redcay

Alice E. Redcay, 85, of Millersville, PA passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Providence Place of Lancaster with her loving children by her side.

Born on January 8, 1941 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Harsh and Erla (Wivell) Harsh. Alice graduated from J. P. McCaskey High School in 1959. She spent her early adult years as a devoted homemaker, then later served many years working at a local farm market and insurance agency. Alice was the organist at her church, Conestoga United Methodist Church, and she was deeply passionate about her volunteer work at the local polling place during election seasons, with her church and with the Unto global ministry organization.

Alice was a kind, caring and nurturing person who was known by many for her positive outlook on life, devotion to her family and her unwavering faith. Beyond her commitment to God, she dedicated her life to raising her children and to being a loving mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Kristy (Rusty) Little, David (Alice) Darrah, Matthew Redcay, Michael (Ashley) Redcay, Melanie (Michael) Canfield, Melissa (Nathan) Bear, 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Alice is reunited in heaven with her parents, brother Jay Harsh, sisters Doris Doll and Jane Fryberger, and her infant son, Steven.

A service will be held at Conestoga United Methodist Church at 71 Sand Hill Road, Conestoga, PA 17516, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10:00 am. Guests will be received beginning at 9:00 am. Following the service, a private interment and gathering of immediate family members will be held.
