Audrey J. Wiker, 66, of Mountville, PA entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care, Lancaster, surrounded by loving family. Born in Lancaster on August 22, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Richard L. Wiker, Sr. and Darlene L. (Banzhof) Wiker Smelter.

Audrey was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. During her working years, she was employed by Bosch, Wendy’s, and Executive Avail-A-Search. She was a seamstress, loved to crochet, loved spoiling the neighborhood pets with treats, looked forward to annual trips to the beach with family, was passionate about her Phillies and Eagles, and really enjoyed Star Trek. She was known for her sense of humor, her resilience and her resourcefulness. Despite many hardships in life, Audrey persevered through all of it.

Audrey loved her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and a dedicated and loyal friend. She was lovingly called Aunt Audrey, Aunt Dee, and Kitten by “her kids.”

In addition to her mother, Audrey is survived by four siblings, Richard L. (Cheryl) Wiker, Rev. Dr. Sherry L. (Gordon) Lantz, Randal B. (Gayle) Wiker, and Wendy S. (Nicholas) Alexakos; nieces and nephews: Jason M. Lantz, Rick Wiker, Jennifer L. (Rev. Keith) Buckbee, Peter N. (JeLeina) Alexakos, Zac (Nicole) Alexakos, RJ Wiker (Inshala Lantigua), Summer Anne (Raul) Rodriguez, and Nicole Alexakos; Great nieces and nephews: Hannah Buckbee, Sarah Buckbee, Abby Buckbee, Tini Inu Alexakos, Katherine Buckbee, Caleb Buckbee, Charlotte Buckbee, and Gabriella Lantigua Wiker. Audrey is also survived by two step-brothers, Herb (Lynn) Smeltzer and Everett “Sonny” Smeltzer. She is predeceased by step-father Everett “Herbie” Smeltzer, a step-sister, Deb Smeltzer, and a step-brother, Fred Smeltzer.

In addition, Audrey is survived by her Godson, Jonathan A. Nagle, and those whom she loved and called “her kids”: Michael, Zachary, Bryan, Robyn, Harlie, Frankie, Bobby, Jamie, Morgan and Donnie. She had an impact on each of their lives.

A service to celebrate Audrey’s life is planned for Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601. A time of visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Keith Buckbee and Pastor Jeff Miller.
