Benjamin C. Sullivan, (better known to those who love him as Sully) 47, of Hanover, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on February 21,2026. A man of immense talent and deep conviction, Sully lived a life defined by the things he loved the most: his faith, his family and his music.
Those who knew Sully through the years, will remember him best with a guitar in his hands. He was an extremely gifted musician and completely at home on a stage. He poured his energy into the heavy metal scene with his band Born of Kings. Sully’s musical talent was a core part of his identity- a fire that never truly went out.
Beyond the music, Sully will always be remembered for his quick wit and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. His laughter was a gift he shared freely. He was also a man of profound faith- holding a deep and personal love for Jesus that guided his heart through life’s journey.
Most importantly, Sully was a father. He found a special language to connect with his children: Abigail Pauline, Samantha Rose, Allison Nicole, Ethan Hendrix and Epic Elijah, bonding over the heroic stories of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Along with his love for Marvel, Ben also shared his love and talent for music with his daughters- often resulting in family sing-a-longs. These moments of shared songs and superhero adventures will forever remain a lasting legacy of his love for them.
Ben is survived by his five beautiful children; the mother of his children, Miriam Sullivan, his brother Shae Sullivan, his sister-in-law Marcie Sullivan, along with nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his precious grandmother Vi Thompson Neil. He was preceded in death by his parents- Susan and Chuck Sullivan, as well as his first love and wife, Michelle Sullivan.
Sully Sullivan’s life was a complex song, filled with high notes, heavy rhythms and a deep underlying faith. He is missed greatly.
