Betty Muckel

Betty M. (Hunsinger) Muckel passed away on January 14, 2025 at home. She was the wife of Donald A. Muckel Sr. for fifty-one and a half years. Betty was born in Lancaster to Robert Hunsinger Sr. and Olive (Ezard) Hunsinger on October 26, 1947.

Betty is survived by her children Tammy, Donald Jr. (Karen) and Robert Muckel Sr. (Jen); six grandchildren, Ashley, Donald 3rd, Robert Jr., Travis, Brittany, and Trevor; eight great grandchildren, Donnette, David Jr., Zachary, Scarlette, Landen, Marlee, Tristen, and Kayzlee.

She was preceded in death by siblings George, Genevieve, Alberta, Doris, and her twin brother Robert. Surviving are Mary, Ronald and Louise.

Betty was a wonderful wife and mother. She lived for her family and they meant everything to her. She enjoyed Bingo, bowling and family vacations. She was a member of the Bausman Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and ran a bowling league for twelve years at Rocky Springs. 

A celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience and everyone will be notified.
