Manheim

Clair “Punk” Ritz, 68, a beloved father and friend, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Manheim, Pennsylvania, on October 27, 1957, to Clair and Shirley (Carpenter) Ritz, Punk remained a vibrant member of the Manheim community throughout his life. Punk will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand.

Punk was a member at the Manheim Veteran of Foreign Wars, the Elstonville Sportsmen’s Association, and the Germania Band Club, where he could be found shooting darts most weekends. He would often be seen walking or biking throughout town and stopping to chat with friends along the way. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Phillies, and sharing statistics about football and baseball. In his youth, he spent his time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Clair is survived by his two daughters, Lindsey and Amber, wife of Zachery Mangan, and their mother, Kimberly. In addition, he is survived by his two sisters, Marie and Sue, and three nieces, Danielle, Jena, and Kristy.

Friends and family are invited to the Manheim Germania Band Club (41 S. Pitt Street, Manheim, PA 17545) on May 9, 2026, at noon to celebrate Punk’s life.
