Clarence Cramer

Clarence Scott Cramer, 66, Elizabethtown, PA went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Born in Columbia, PA, to John and Delores (nee Smith) Cramer, he grew up in Marietta, PA. Clarence joined the Army in 1977 and was a proud member of the 82 nd Airborne as a CIP FA Surveyor and Expert Marksman until 1983. After the army, Clarence worked in the foundry industry and later in construction. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, restoring muscle cars, hunting and fishing. Clarence spent the last six years with the love of his life, his wife Jill (nee Bustard). They enjoyed traveling to OR and MS to visit their kids, time at their family cottage in MD, telling stories, hanging out with family and friends at each other’s homes, laughing and sharing a special love for each other.

Clarence had a big personality that he wasn’t afraid to show. He could talk to anyone and everyone and have them laughing within minutes with stories of his adventures and/or his bad Dad jokes. He worked hard and played harder. The most important things in the world to Clarence were his family, friends, and country. He was a proud veteran and spoke frequently of his adventures in the Army.

Along with his wife, Clarence is survived by his daughters, Emily (Joe Gordon) Cramer, Melody Knaby, and Katie Cramer, his stepsons J.R. (Sarah) Kegerise and Ben Kegerise, his sister, Rosie (Rick) Gorton, brother John Cramer, brother Jeff (Yvonne) Cramer, sister Laura (Reuben Stoutzenberger) Cramer, granddaughter Lily Eller, grandson Tomas Haydt, and granddaughter Addison Kegerise and his loving dogs Rocco & Ricci and cats Luna and Laney. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and various aunts and uncles. 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Clarence at the American Legion Conewago Post 329, 240 N Hanover St, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 3:00pm. Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a Veterans organization of your choice.
