Donald Finley

Donald Finley, 66, of Elizabethtown, PA, died peacefully after a short illness on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Mount Joy (Milton Grove) PA, Don was the son of the late Eugene Finley, and Lois Good Finley. Don graduated from Donegal High School in the class of 1978. Then graduated from Barber Academy and had a long career as a Hair Stylist in the Lancaster County area. 

He formed many acquaintances throughout his career and was well known in the area. Many clients would comment that with Don “it was more than just a haircut; it was also entertainment listening to his stories and commentary”. In Don’s youth he enjoyed playing sports and was a lifelong sports enthusiast. He also enjoyed the family cabin, outdoors, and fishing, especially when it was with family and friends.

Don is survived by his son Evan Finley, and granddaughter Leila Finley, both of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by his mother Lois Good Finley of Elizabethtown, PA and two brothers, Dennis Finley of Hummelstown, PA, and Duane Finley of Charleston, SC. 

A private family ceremony will be held to honor Don’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in his memory to Hospice & Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
