Donald (Doc) Heidelbaugh
Doc Heidelbaugh passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Manheim on February, 20th 1940 to the late Harry & Evelyn Heidelbaugh. He was a graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, and served in the Army Reserves. Doc worked as an auto mechanic for Granny Wenger’s garage and later worked and retired from Armstrong World Industries.
Doc enjoyed hunting and spending time at his cabin in Juniata County. After retirement he enjoyed wood working and creating wooden painted Uncle Sam’s that are displayed throughout the US. He enjoyed watching Penn State and Eagles football with his beloved dog Bella.
He is survived by his wife Mary Heidelbaugh and 4 children; Todd husband of Bonnie, Kelli wife of Bill Buzzard, Tana companion of John Redd and Tracy. He was a proud Pop Pop and Pap Frog to 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Marlene, wife of Danny Dittus and a brother Harry, husband of Karen.
In addition to his parent’s, he was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne.
Honoring his wishes, no funeral services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.
