Donald Rodgers

Donald Winfred Rodgers, 65, of Pequea, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 15, 2026. Born on July 28, 1960, Donald lived a life centered around hard work, family, friendship, and generosity.

Donald dedicated 47 years of his life to working as a truck driver before retiring in December of 2025. He was known as the life of the party, famous for making the best chicken, and most of all, for having one of the biggest hearts anyone could ever know. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing and was a member of Petra Church.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Karen L. Rodgers of Pequea; his children, Jessica Rodgers and fiancé Jon Sarver of Manheim, Jennyfer Johnson and fiancé Ethan Moose of Pequea, Jessica Lynn and wife to James Lynn of York, Karen Graybill and wife to Richard Graybill of Kirkwood, and Jim Burchett Jr. and husband to Hannah of Lititz. He is also survived by 13 cherished grandchildren and his brother, Bart Rodgers and husband to Vanessa.

Donald will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date by the family.
