Ella Herr

Ella Joyce Herr (Swinehart) 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2026. Born in Gap, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mirium (Todd) and Charlie Swinehart. She was married to the late Elmer L. Herr (2019).

She is survived by two children, Douglas K. Herr (Elaine) of Pequea and Linda S. Keener (Don) of Manheim; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bud Swinehart; three sisters, Helen Martin, Gladys Esh and Janet Groff.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elmer L. Herr (2019); daughter, Bonita Sinninger and son Kenneth L. Herr, granddaughter, Corinne Herr; two brothers, Carl Swinehart and Babe Swinehart.

She was a member of the Manheim Brethren in Christ Church. She retired as a school bus driver for Manheim Central School District.

She enjoyed knitting hats. Scarves for Salvation Army to distribute to those in need.
