Emmett James St.Clair, 71, of Kirkwood, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026. Born on February 21, 1955, Emmett lived a life full of humor, heart, and unmistakable joy.
For 31 years - and married for 23 of them - he shared his life with his beloved wife, Kathy St.Clair, who was his partner in every sense of the word. Together they built a home filled with laughter, love and the kind of companionship that leaves a lasting imprint.
Emmett is survived by his daughters, Christine J. Collins of Columbia, PA and Sarah A. Collins of Wrightsville, PA; his sisters, Brenda St.Clair of Ohio and Linda Cibula of Virginia; his nephew, David, whom he cherished. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. His love extended to many other close family members who will forever feel the warmth of his presence.
In addition to enjoying his retirement, Emmett was a devoted driver and trusted friend to the Amish community, forming bonds built on respect, kindness and genuine care. His reliability and good humor made him not just a driver, but a companion and steady presence in their daily lives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett George St.Clair, his mother, Lois Chenault, and his stepfather, Jim Hamlet.
Emmett had a gift for finding joy in the simple things - the beach, long convertible rides, and any chance to make someone laugh. His grin stretched from ear to ear, and his bright, smiling eyes had a way of lifting the heaviest of moods. He adored his animals - Cash, Daisy, Boo Boo, Mike, Molly, Taz and Crackle - each one a cherished companion who brought him comfort and delight.
Those who knew him will remember his warmth, his humor, and the effortless way he made life feel a little lighter. His presence was a blessing, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.
We will miss him deeply.
