Gertrud Schneider

Gertrud "Trudi" Schneider, 87, of Ephrata, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 5, 2024. Trudi was born on April 13, 1937, in Dusseldorf Germany. She was the daughter of the late Alex Erich Schindowski and Anna Maria Beyen. Trudi was preceded in death by her two brothers Erich and Horst Schindowski. Trudi is survived by her three children: Bridgett Coll, married to James Coll of Silver Spring, MD, Robert Schneider of Denver, PA, and Joseph Schneider married to Kimberly Frankfort of Newmanstown, PA. She is also survived by one granddaughter Mary Sinicropi married to Nick Sinicropi and one great grandson, Jameson Sinicropi. 

Trudi held many jobs in order to support her three children. Her last job was at Dart Container. She retired in 2003 so she could spend more time with her granddaughter. 

A funeral mass will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, PA on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Visitation with the family is at 10:30. Mass will follow at 11:00.
