James Dorsey Yoder, 68, of Manheim, Pa, passed away from cancer on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital.
He is survived by his four children, his son Shawn Yoder, and his three daughters Kristy Kroeck, Amanda DuPont, and Mary DelaCruz. Also, survived by his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Manheim Central High School, class of 1976. He was employed by Highland Tank, Manheim, Pa. Previously, he was an HVAC technician for over 35 years.
Jim was very passionate about music. He was a choir boy at church growing up, he began playing guitar at the age of 12. He enjoyed playing lead, bass guitar, and singing backup vocals. He played in several bands throughout the years, playing classic rock music, as well as, Christian Contemporary music in a band called Fine Line.
His hobbies included, fishing and making candles.
James (Jimmy) was a very sociable and caring person, always offering to help others in their time of need. He will be dearly missed! We love you dad!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 10, 2026, at 2pm at Grace Church, 501 W. Lincoln Avenue, Lititz, Pa 17543.
