Jeffrey Druce

Jeffrey Lynn Druce, 71, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. Born on July 11, 1954, he was raised in Grayslake, Illinois before moving to Lancaster and graduating from Manheim Township High School, class of 1972. He went on to study at Shippensburg State College before graduating from Millersville State College with a Bachelor's in Psychology. He returned to Shippensburg State College for his MBA and completed all the coursework for a Doctorate of Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University.

Jeff built a distinguished career in banking in South Central PA, holding positions in retail management and commercial lending, and spending much of his career with Mellon Bank, Susquehanna Bank, and Metro Bank.

He will be remembered for his kindness, integrity, sense of humor, and deep commitment to family, friends, and community. Jeff enjoyed hiking, reading, classic rock, and sharing political humor. He treasured time with his children and grandchildren and was active with the Sierra Club of Lancaster and St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He served as a longtime volunteer mediator for Advoz Mediation Center and volunteered with the Lancaster Parking Authority and the Lancaster Historic Preservation Trust.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jane Druce; his son, Joshua R Druce, and his wife, Kate Zimmerman; his son, Jonathan Druce, and his wife, Kayla Druce; and his cherished grandchildren, Emerson and Eliza Druce, and George and Caroline Zimmerman. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Brugger, and her husband, Robert Ames, and his brother-in-law, Thomas Roche. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Charlene, and his sister, Sheryl Roche.

A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 St Thomas Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jeff’s memory to Advoz Mediation Center, the Lancaster Sierra Club, or St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
