John Joseph Butler, 72 of New Holland, PA entered into the presence of the Lord Saturday,
June 3 rd at Garden Spot Village. John was born March 29, 1952 in Lansdowne, PA. He was the
son of the late John J. Butler, Sr. and Margot E. Butler (nee Kirsche). John is survived by his
beloved wife of 43 years, Suzanne Marie (nee Mitchell). He is also survived by his sister, Maxine
Beaver Butler, his niece Donna Marie, her husband James Macciocca, their daughter Mia Bella
and a loving extended family and many dear friends.
John graduated from Lansdowne High School and then went on to the Philadelphia School of
Dental Technology. He worked as a dental technician for 45 years. He was employed at Eaton
Dental Lab in Bryn Mawr and then Temple University School of Dentistry, where he retired.
John had a servants heart, was loving, kind and deeply sentimental. He paid attention to detail
and took pride in his work. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, his tchotchke collections, music;
especially 60’s rock and the Kansas City Chiefs. While on vacation he always had time to visit a
lighthouse. Over the years, happy memories were made while visiting family and friends at the
Jersey Shore.
He was a longtime member and usher at The Blue Church in Springfield, PA.
In the fall of 2020, John and Suzanne relocated from their home of 40 years to Garden Spot
Village in New Holland, PA.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, June 30 th at Garden Spot Village, 433 S.
Kinzer Ave. New Holland, PA 17557.
In lieu of flowers send donations to: Samaritans Purse or Crossnet Ministries in New Holland.
