John Swift

John "Jap" B Swift 59 of Pequea passed away peacefully on March 28th 2026 after a brief illness at Hospice and Community Care.

Born on October 20th,1966, in Lancaster PA, he was the son of Robert Swift and Betty Swift Lehoe who both preceded him in death. He was the loving husband of Frances Swift who also preceded him by death in 2022.

John is survived by a daughter Emily Bleecher (John Paul) Pequea. 2 sons, Brian Riffey and Justin Murphy of New Providence. A brother Bob Swift (Darlene) New Providence and a sister Connie Morrison (Bob) of Quarryville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren with one on the way.

John spent most of his working years driving truck. He previously worked for Milky Haven, Pranges trucking and Carl Killian driving dump truck.

John had a heart of gold and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus and with his wife Frances who he has missed dearly for the past 4 years. He will live on in our hearts until we meet again.

The family would like to thank "Bob Fyer & Family Inpatient Center" for the wonderful care that was given to make him comfortable in his final days.

The services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
