Lynne M Young

Lynne Young, 87 died on Friday December 12, 2025 at Masonic Village Health Care Center Evergreen. Lovingly known to all as Grammy. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to many of her “babies” Monty, Heather, Ben, Amanda, Heidi, Gus, Sal, Eve, Jill, Jonathan, Noah, Nick, Norah, Wesley, Parker, Piper, Bodie and Daisy. Lynne was born in Elyria Ohio to Wesley and Helen Carpenter. She graduated High School and became a homemaker. When her children were older she began to work as a CNA at St. Martha’s Manor. Most of her consisted of taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her Faith sustained her and brought her hope. She lived her life focused on her family, faith and kindness to others. In true testament of her love and faith she always made sure everyone was okay first. Her warmth, kindness and unwavering strength touched every life she encouraged. Everyone knows her as Grammy and her presence will be deeply missed. Grammy filled the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren with laughter, stories, and endless love. Her Legacy will live on with her grandchildren and grandchildren through memories, traditions and values she passed on.

Lynne’s funeral will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lynne’s memory to Masonic Village Hospice at 98 Masonic Drive suite 101 Elizabethtown PA 17022.
