Marian Mosemann

Marian R. Mosemann, 90, of Lancaster, PA, went home to meet her Savior on June 22, 2026. She was born on December 11, 1935 in Providence, RI to the late Antonio Ruggiero and Giuseppina Ruggiero (Cardillo). Marian was a dutiful Navy wife and devoted mother. Moreover, she was a Child of God who served her Savior, her husband, her children, and her fellow man with a vast array of knowledge and skills. She used her vocal and musical talents to comfort soldiers recovering from their wounds suffered fighting in Vietnam. Schooled and certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she provided care and comfort to the elderly. She transformed cloth and thread into quilts, blankets, and clothing to be used as gifts for neighbors or donations to needy Native American families. She added a heaping measure of joy to every family or holiday meal she cooked, every gift of bread and cookies she baked, or shared jar of jelly she canned. Marian was a beloved member of Salem Bible Church in New Holland, PA, where she served with joy and enthusiasm. Known for her warmth and congeniality, she could be counted on for a kind word or a gentle hug.

Marian is survived by her son, Daniel S. Mosemann, Jr. (Lorri), her daughter, Mary-Jo Towns (Rob), her brother Anthony Ruggiero (Elaine), her brother Joseph Ruggiero, her sister Deborah Marchetti-Benton (Jeff), her sister-in-law Martha Herr (Don), her sister-in-law Elizabeth Warren, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, her beloved husband Daniel S. Mosemann, Sr., and son Donn W. Mosemann.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Salem Bible Church, 590 Voganville Road in New Holland, PA on Saturday, September 12. A live-stream will also be available to watch by going online to YouTube.com/salembiblechurchofvoganvil253. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow. Guests are invited to join in a light lunch after the service.

Marian will be remembered for her dedication to family, her unwavering faith, and her generous heart.
