-Marion Kathleen Garrett, 59, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024. Her family is profoundly saddened.

-Marion was born on October 23, 1964, in Syracuse, New York. She was a nurse for over 20 years, and it was her passion. She loved helping people, and her work ethic was unmatched. After years as a licensed nurse in multiple states, she attended East Tennessee State University, where she earned an Accounting Degree.

-Marion was not just an exemplary nurse, but also an exceptional mother and human being. Her love for her family and community was boundless, and she was always there to lend a helping hand. Her caring nature, selflessness, and unending generosity were not just words, but qualities that she embodied in her relationships with her mother, father, husband, children, grandchildren, entire family, and countless others in her community.

-Marion was known for her remarkable intelligence and conveyed that she gained knowledge from her devotion to reading. She loved to read while sipping a hot cup of coffee. She loved listening to Rod Stewart and Patsy Cline, among other greats. She watched her favorite movie “Field of Dreams” over 100 times.

-She is survived by her three children and five grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

-Marion’s departure has left a deep wound in our hearts, and her absence is keenly felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her community.
