Matthew Anderson

Matt Anderson, 51 of Lititz, PA. formally of Charlotte, NC; passed away on March 12, 2026, peacefully with his family by his side. Born in Lancaster, Matt was the son of James L. Anderson and his wife, Cindy L. Anderson, of Lititz, and the late Susan J. Anderson of Lancaster. He was a devoted father, son, and friend to everyone who knew him.

Matt’s passion was teaching elementary school. He enjoyed trips to the beach with family and his numerous dogs, especially Sam. His greatest joy in life were his sons Jace & Bryce. After his HD diagnosis he focused on exercise & work outs at the gym trying to beat the HD. A 1992 graduate of Warwick High School, Matt went on to earn his degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University. He later completed a Master of Education.

Matt is survived by his sons, Jace Anderson and Bryce Anderson, his father, James L. Anderson, and his wife, Cindy L. Anderson; and his cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan J. Anderson and brother Brian R. Anderson.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of his family.
