Melinda E Zipp

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melinda Eileen Zipp, affectionately known as Lin or Linda, on September 14, 2026. Born on January 20, 1951, Melinda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Her unfading love and care were the heart of the family, the glue that held everyone together, and the anchor that always provided a safe place to return to.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, Donna J. Culp-Smith and Earl Peter Graham and a brother Gary Graham. She leaves behind her devoted husband, David C Zipp, to whom she was beside for 45 years. She is survived by her cherished children, Amanda Brown, Melissa Fox, Tracey L Slack, Jeffrey Fisher, and Shaun Fisher. Melinda’s siblings, Lisa Bailey, Robin Graham, Michael Graham, and Earl "Chub" Graham Jr, also survive her.

Melinda was a proud and loving grandmother to Kayla Slack, Caden Rankin, Matthew Slack, Joshua Fisher, Destiny Brown, Gregory Osborne, Lily Adams, Shaun Fisher Jr, Cody Fox, Tanya Fox, Bebe Fisher, Joseph Clemens, Jaliyah Clemens and Brittany Stauffer. She was held in high regard by her sons-in-law, Michael Brown, Michael Fox, and Jeffrey Slack; and her daughters-in-law, Lisa Settle-Fisher and Beth Fisher.

Melinda's legacy will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her. Her profound dedication to raising and caring for her family, and her steadfast love for her husband were unmatched. Her love for her dogs and cats, many of which were rescued, is not forgotten. Melinda's loss is deeply felt, but the love and warmth she embodied will continue to resonate in our hearts forever.
