Paul R. Spedden

Paul R Spedden, age 81, of Marietta, Pennsylvania passed away at home surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, November 27, 2025. He was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, son of the late Rufus B and Lenora Evelyn Spedden.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Lancaster having served in the choir for many years. He also was a member and tenor singer in the Lancaster Chorale.

He served in the Army for four years as an aircraft repairman. He was a graduate of Williamson College of the Trades. He enjoyed bicycling, singing, growing tomatoes and he had a love for the Lord. He was also an avid Phillies fan.

He will be lovingly missed by his three children, Andrew, Rebekah Wilson “Lawrence”, and Miriam and wonderful grandchildren, Joshua Wilson, the late Natalia Spedden.

A memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, any contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 140 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
