Rance R Hulshart

Rance Royston Hulshart, born October 14, 1956, of York, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his residence in early February 2026. 

Rance was a proud graduate of Central York High School and later attended the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout his life, he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic and spent many years working for New Standard Corporation until his retirement. He also was an avid Civil War antique collector and a historical enthusiast. 

Rance is survived by his brother, Randy Hulshart of York, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish the memories they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl M. Hulshart and Rosaleen T. (Wasser) Hulshart, by his common-law wife Barbara "June" Baker-Romero, and by his siblings Sheila F. Hess, Victor “Lee” Hulshart, Karen R. Sheely, and Linda A. Barrett. 

Rance’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. 

There will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
