Ronald J. Bunting

Ronald (Ron) J. Bunting, 61, of Christiana, PA, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026 at Lancaster General Hospital surrounded by people who loved him dearly.

He was truly a jack of all trades, someone who could fix an engine as easily as he could put on a roof, and who never shied away from lending a hand. Whether working with tools or enjoying a good game of pool, he took pride in doing things well. He found his greatest peace outdoors, hunting at daybreak, fishing quiet waters, and spending time in the mountains he loved so much. Those moments in nature reflected his steady spirit, self‑reliance, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Laura) Bunting and their three children; sisters Dorothy, Martha, and Mary; as well as his caring, long-term girlfriend, Carole Dorwart.

He is preceeded in death by his parents Fred and Elizabeth (Shaub) Bunting, a sister Betsy, and four brothers, Billy, Fred, Randy, and Rick.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.
