Sandra Bruce

Sandra Kirk Paschall Bruce, died peacefully in the loving presence of her family December 20, 2025 at 82 years of age.

Preceding her in death were parents Edwin Paschall, Sr., Dorothy Kirk Paschall, brothers John Paschall, Edwin Paschall, Jr., sister Judith Montague (James) and daughter Elizabeth Elfner (Bryan). She is survived by husband Gerald Bruce, daughters Heather Kline (Michael), Catherine McCartan, Rebecca Knapp (James), 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Sandy earned a diploma in 1961 from Unionville High School, PA, BS Home Economics Education from Mansfield State College 1965 (now Commonwealth University-Mansfield), MS Home Economics Education from State University of New York at Oneonta 1969.

Sandy worked four years full time and several years part time as an educator, twenty-four years for RR Donnelley followed by five years for the Pennsylvania State Police.

Sandy was a member of Home Economics Associations, Mothers of Twins Club, Warm up Lancaster, Lancaster Sewing Network, Tops and Money Makers Investment Club.

She was a birthright member of the London Grove Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quaker). After moving to Lancaster, Sandra transferred membership to Lancaster Monthly Meeting. She was dedicated to the Quaker faith and volunteered for the Library Committee at Lancaster Monthly Meeting.

She loved knitting, sewing, playing canasta & pinochle with friends and was lovingly dedicated to her family.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Tandem Living Benevolent Fund or the Lancaster Friends School.
