Sylvia Weit

Sylvia J. Weit, 80, of Manheim passed away on Friday, October 24th, 2025.

Sylvia is survived by her husband David Weit of 41 years. She is also survived by 2 sons: Jason Herr (& Beth) of Voorheesville, NY; Steve Herr (& Natausha) of Salunga, PA; and 2 daughters Sabrena Jutzi (& Tim) of Etters, PA; and Faith Blough (& Chris) of Etters, PA. Sylvia is also loved by her grandchildren: Nicole, Stephen, Jason, Alec, Kristofer, Devon, Maya, Aaron, Marisa, Makayla, Sara, & Rowan; her great-grandson, Clayton; and her bothers Terry & Jere Ober. In addition to her parents, Richard & Sara Ober, Sylvia is preceded in death by her brothers Richard Jr. & Ron.

Sylvia graduated from Donegal High School in 1963, and continued her education at Lancaster Bible College (Bethel). She grew up on a dairy/tobacco farm in Mount Joy and loved sharing stories of farm life. Sylvia was an active member of Jerusalem church in Penryn, PA. She served as an Elder, Deacon, & Sunday School teacher. Sylvia loved singing in the choir and playing bells. She also taught through Bible 2 School. She loved helping make people healthy with her Shaklee products. Dave will honor her as he continues her Shaklee legacy.

A service will be held at Jerusalem Church in Penryn on Friday November 14th. Visitation will begin at 12:30 followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Sylvia would be honored to have donations made in her honor to Bible 2 School (B2S) in Manheim.
