Victoria E Geist

May 7, 1951 — Aug 5, 2026

Victoria E. Geist, 75, affectionately known as Vickie, stepped onto Heaven's shore on August 5, 2026, entering the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She passed peacefully from her nursing bed at Susquehanna Health & Wellness Center in Columbia, Pennsylvania, into the eternal arms of her Savior. Born to James and Kitty Snyder, Vickie was the youngest of four daughters and carried the strength, resilience, and determination of the Snyder family throughout her life.

Vickie is lovingly remembered by her sisters: Carol Sinclair, wife of Richard Sinclair; Donna Barr, widow of Ronald Barr; and Janice Michael, widow of Lawrence Michael.

She shared a portion of her life with her former husband, Andrew Geist. Vickie was the mother of James Wilson and his wife, Niki. She was a proud grandmother to Jimmy Wilson and Jessica Wilson, each of whom brought her much joy. Vickie also shared a special bond with her sister, Carol, and her niece, Roxanne Rutter, whose loving care and faithful support provided comfort during her final illness. She was predeceased by two nephews, Michael and James Trauger. Vickie leaves behind many nieces and nephews too numerous to name.

A lifelong resident of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Vickie attended J.P. McCaskey High School and was last employed by QVC. She found delight in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with her beloved pet cats, completing Word Finds, and playing Bingo. Victoria Elaine Geist

Those who knew Vickie knew her as a fighter, a true "Snyder fighter." That courageous spirit sustained her through life's many challenges and remained with her until her final breath. She was also known for her generous heart and kindness toward others. Even while residing in the nursing facility, she made sure fellow residents had snacks and provisions, always looking for ways to care for those around her.

During her final months, Vickie surrendered herself to the will of the Lord and found great comfort in His promises. She especially cherished hearing Scripture read aloud, finding particular peace in the words of Revelation chapters 21 and 22.The promise, "Behold, I come quickly," resonated deeply within her heart asshe looked forward with hope and anticipation to seeing Jesus face to face. Itbecame her earnest prayer that the day of her homegoing would come quicklyand now that faith has become sight.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in the assurance that she is healed, at peace, and forever in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
