Wanda J Swinehart

Wanda J. (Schnell) Swinehart, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Pappus House in York County after a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ralph C. Sr. and Sylvia L. (Kissinger) Schnell. She was also the loving wife of Carl E. Swinehart for 54 years at the time of his passing in 2024.

In her spare time, she enjoyed time with her family, watching movies, doing crossword puzzles, and going to the beach. Her favorite place was Ocean City, Maryland.

Wanda is survived by two daughters; Tanya (David Jr.) Benner and Sherri (Jim) Carpenter, and five grandsons; David III (Gabriela) Benner, Karl Benner, and Jimmy, Nathan and Griffin Carpenter. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers; John C. and Ralph C. Jr. Schnell, and one sister; Julia Kitson.

In accordance with Wanda’s wishes, no services will be held.
