Richard L Woerner

Richard L Woerner of Lancaster, PA passed away on 12/15/16 at Golden Living Center.

He was born in Lebanon, PA to the late Roy G Woerner and Barbara A Woerner.

He was employed at the Friendly Greek on South Prince Street for over 35 years. He mostly enjoyed shooting darts and shuffle alley, and cheering on his Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Braves.

He was is survived by his mother Barbara A Woerner of Lancaster, His sister Sherry Marquart, wife of Anthony Marquart of Lancaster, His brother Scott Woerner, companion of Mirabella Rodriguez of Lancaster, His brother Roy Bomgardner, husband of Star Bomgardner of Lebanon and numerous nieces, nephews, and a great niece.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, December 21st at Faith United Church of Christ, 1204 Wabank Rd, Lancaster PA. From 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Friends can call on the family beginning at 5:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richards’s memory can be made to Faith United Church of Christ Attn: Pastor John Rieker

    Rich gave us so many memories! So many laughs and told us where to go so many times! He was a great friend to most everyone he encountered and will be missed by so many!! I will never watch an episode of Little House on the Prairie without found memories of Rich!! Hold your memories close to your heart where he will always be.

  • It was so sad to hear the news of Richard’s passing. I will always remember our earlier days, back some 30 years ago, how he would always get on Amy and I when we would act up…you guys were my 2nd family….To Barb and the rest of the family, my deepest and sincerest condolences.
