Rosalie M. Harnly, 77, of Elizabethtown passed away on December 2, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late Gladys Smith Waller and Robert S. Waller, Sr. Rose was married to Wayne E. Harnly and they celebrated 56 years of marriage this year.
She will be sorely missed by her son, Wayne R., husband to Joanne, Columbia and daughter, Tanya Fitzkee, wife of Peter, Salunga. Daughters, Diane Lang and Susan Irvin, preceded her in death, as well as a brother, Robert S. Waller, Jr.
Rose retired from Amp/Tyco after 36 years of service. She was a lover of nature and enjoyed gardening, but her first love was always her family. She leaves behind four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Rosalie was so much more than a few paragraphs could ever convey and her absence will ever be keenly felt.
Services will be held at the discretion and convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care.
Rose was a beautiful soul and an amazing woman. She was always smiling and gracious to everyone. She will be missed by so many. Our love and prayers go out to her family.
