Rose Ella Rainwater

Rose Ella Rainwater, age 84 passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021, due to lung cancer.  She was born June 2, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Raymond W. Crandall and Myrtle L. Coil Crandall. She was married to her longtime love, Fay L. Rainwater on December 31, 1951.

Rose loved to be with family and friends. Her most cherished times were spent with her children and grandchildren. What a privilege to have been loved by such a beautiful, prayerful, kind, God-honoring woman. She leaves a legacy to us of what it means to live with a quiet, steadfast faith and trust in Jesus.

Rose is survived by her husband Fay Rainwater, her daughter, Kathy Worcester, two sons, Donald and William Rainwater; her children’s spouses Jerry, Cheryl and Toni; grandchildren Jennifer, Jacob, Daniel, Justin, Matthew, Andrew, Breanne, and Hannah; plus 13 great grandchildren whom she deeply loved.

A celebration of life will follow at a later time.
