  • Dear Art and family,

I was saddened to learn of Sue’s death. Kalamazoo College was many years ago for us, but it seems almost like yesterday. You lived in the married housing during my senior year. When Ellie and I married we were all off on the long road of life. Over the years we all had good times, good friends and wonderful experiences. Life remains worthwhile.

    Please accept my condolences.

    Gary

  • I remember both of you and am sorry to hear about Sue but it sounds like she had a wonderful life. Sixty years is a long time. It is hard getting old and harder losing people we love. I send my prayers and sympathy for you Art and your family. Love, Ann

  • Dear Crowley’s,
Many, many memories of Sue. She was Stephen’s Cub Scout leader, we taught together at Reformation Church, we golfed, laughed, and always enjoyed talking and bragging about our children. She will be missed.

  • Dear Crowleys – Prayers for your family at this time. We went to Lima Methodist with them and our oldest son graduated with Jack. Sue was so kind to everyone and was always ready to help wherever needed.
We also worked together at Reformation Lutheran Nursery School. The children loved her and I never saw her get upset about anything!
A fine example for all of us. Art-Sue was special-both as a wife, grandmother and friend to all!

  • Sue told God and family it was time to end her battle here on earth; with courage and grace she went to join the Lord. She is now at peace at home with her sister. Our prayers for comfort and strength go out to Art and the family. Our love for you will remain until we’re all together again.
